Archive or delete an event
When an event is over, you have two moves. Archive it to get it off your events list while keeping every score readable. Delete it when you want it gone for good. They are separate on purpose: archiving never deletes anything.
Archive: off the list, kept forever
On My Events, press Archive on any finished event. It moves to the Archive page, where the board, results, and printed cards stay fully readable - the players' links keep working too. There is no time limit. An organizer who runs thirty events a year archives last season and keeps the whole history.
Restore puts an event back on My Events at any time.
A live event will not archive. Archiving mid-play hides the event from your own list on the day you need it most, so finalize scoring first - or move the event back to setup from the control room - and archive it then.
Delete: gone after 30 days
Delete lives on the Archive page, under each archived event. That is deliberate: deleting is a two-step trip (archive, then delete), never one tap from your working list.
To delete, open "Delete this event" and type the event's join code to confirm. The event disappears everywhere at once - players' links stop working - and moves to Recently deleted at the bottom of the Archive page.
The 30-day safety net
A deleted event waits in Recently deleted for 30 days. Restore it there and it returns to the archive with everything intact. After 30 days it is permanently removed: every score, card, and player is erased and cannot be recovered.
Your billing history is not affected. A receipt for a paid event stays on your account after the event itself is gone.
What counts on your bill
Deleting or archiving an event never refunds it or frees up a free slot - the free window and per-event purchases follow publishing, not what you keep. See the pricing page for how events are billed.
